What will you do?
Siemens Transformers is looking for a Technician or Engineer whom will be responsible for made-to-measure engineering processes associated with the customized prefabrication department.
Responsibilities
- Product configuration for production purposes (work orders, machine programs, optimization).
- Participate in cost-reduction projects and in their identification.
- Ensure the technical documentation (drawings, etc.) is up to date.
- Develop special tools for the manufacturing of certain parts.
- Technical support for operations (This responsibility involves providing technical assistance and training to plant departments, such as manufacturing engineering and production, to enhance the performance of manufacturing cells.)
- Preventive maintenance system management (This responsibility involves managing the preventive maintenance system according to machine operating data.)
- College degree or university studies in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in fields related to mechanical engineering
- At least one year of experience in the fields of manufacturing processes
- At least one year of experience in the fields of technical drawing, etc.
- Very strong fluency in French (spoken and written)
- Strong fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo and MS Office software is desirable
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Initiative, analysis skills, and focus on quality
